We are recruiting for an experienced payroll administrator at our Bishops Cleeve head office, to start as soon as possible. This is a temporary role, whilst we implement a new electronic timesheet system. This role is three days a week. Working hours are 08:30-17:00pm three days (24 hours) a week though the days can be flexible, except when handover is required and this will be Monday- Wednesday only.

To be successful in the role we need someone with the following attributes and skills: -

A can do outcome focused attitude and approach, resourceful and works to make things happen
A relentless drive to improve performance and deliver outstanding results through efficient and effective ways of working
First class administrative skills and confidence with using technology
Experience of Paycircle preferred, but not essential
Confidence in using excel, and in using formulas such a sumif and vlookup and graphs
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
A creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles
A pro-active approach to work and problem solving, and the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur
A high level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others and is consistent, open and honest

The role will be mainly payroll tasks, including but not limited to the following:

Lead the whole monthly payroll process, including checking the addition and accuracy of paper timesheets against our HR system
Experience of payroll is essential
Importing data from excel to the payroll system
Importing payslips into HR system
Communication with employees regarding payroll queries, and manage payroll email inbox
If capacity allows, be involved in the implementation of the electronic timesheet system
Ensure employee information is kept up to date

The role, whilst being part of a team of 8, will enable the successful candidate to organise and control their own work schedule.
