Job Description

Our client is seeking a Compliance Services Manager to join their team on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This Jersey-based role focuses on the Schedule 2 compliance regime (AMLSP), working closely with the administration and Risk & Compliance teams to deliver AMLSP services to a varied client portfolio. This is a full-time position offering a dynamic and progressive work environment ideal for a driven compliance professional.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate the Schedule 2 compliance service delivery for clients in collaboration with client-facing teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the JFSC Central Authorisation team for entity registrations and deregistrations.
  • Fulfil the Key Person role of Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer.
  • Manage AMLSP policy and procedures for AMLSP services.
  • Oversee the AMLSP Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) testing process for clients.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the corporate governance, operating officer and finance teams.
  • Guide administration teams with queries regarding AMLSP services.
  • Manage AMLSP deliverables for annual reviews by client boards.
  • Assess and identify additional training needs for administrators on AMLSP services and regulatory updates.
  • Assist with preparation of regulatory reports as required.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure optimal system use to drive efficiency and service quality.
  • Support the continuous improvement ethos by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Undertake project work and contribute to initiatives as designated by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the finance or compliance sector.
  • Strong academic background; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent understanding of Jersey compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Viewpoint and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of statutory laws, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and mentor administration teams.
