Temporary Compliance Services Manager - 15 months

Our client is seeking a Compliance Services Manager to join their team on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This Jersey-based role focuses on the Schedule 2 compliance regime (AMLSP), working closely with the administration and Risk & Compliance teams to deliver AMLSP services to a varied client portfolio. This is a full-time position offering a dynamic and progressive work environment ideal for a driven compliance professional.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate the Schedule 2 compliance service delivery for clients in collaboration with client-facing teams.
- Act as the primary liaison with the JFSC Central Authorisation team for entity registrations and deregistrations.
- Fulfil the Key Person role of Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer.
- Manage AMLSP policy and procedures for AMLSP services.
- Oversee the AMLSP Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) testing process for clients.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders such as the corporate governance, operating officer and finance teams.
- Guide administration teams with queries regarding AMLSP services.
- Manage AMLSP deliverables for annual reviews by client boards.
- Assess and identify additional training needs for administrators on AMLSP services and regulatory updates.
- Assist with preparation of regulatory reports as required.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure optimal system use to drive efficiency and service quality.
- Support the continuous improvement ethos by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Undertake project work and contribute to initiatives as designated by management.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in the finance or compliance sector.
- Strong academic background; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Excellent understanding of Jersey compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Viewpoint and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) advantageous.
- Solid understanding of statutory laws, legal and regulatory requirements.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
- Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and mentor administration teams.
