Our Technology team specializes in solving complex technical challenges, particularly in the area of back end development. This role focuses on developing and sharing new technologies. You might be working on Kubernetes, improving database scalability, setting up a new data center, or giving Tech Talks to other teams.

In this role, you will:

• Have a strong interest in working on infrastructure projects;
• Be eager to learn and explore new technologies;
• Be the go to expert in software architecture;
• Enjoy coming up with new ideas and putting them into practice;
• Share your knowledge with the rest of Realworks.

Your team

You'll be part of an agile team alongside three Senior Architects. You take initiative, collaborate with stakeholders, and enjoy coaching others. We're looking for someone who works independently and is excited to help shape the future of our tech landscape.

Job requirements

• Around 7 10 years experience as a developer, and at least 2 years experience as architect or with (lead) architecture;
• Experience with our Technology stack: Java, Spring Boot, Tomcat, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD;
• Experience creating both high level and low level designs; creating and safeguarding a technical roadmap or architecture;
• Experience working with multiple product teams simultaneously, strong communicator and able to bridge between teams;
• Technical writing, modeling designs in a picture;
• Experience with Scrum and Agile;
• Good knowledge of the English language and eagerness to learn Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes;
