Vehicle Technician
Up to £42,000 Basic Salary OTE Up to £48,000 Full Training & Career Development

Due to continued growth, a leading automotive retailer is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its professional aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern, well-equipped workshop offering industry-leading training, strong earning potential and clear progression opportunities.

Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Saturday rota requirement
The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and diagnostics
  • Completing electrical and mechanical repairs
  • Working on suspension, steering, braking systems, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhaust systems and air conditioning
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Supporting maintenance and repair work on electric and hybrid vehicles
  • Fitting accessories and additional vehicle equipment
  • Completing all job cards and service documentation accurately
  • Utilising digital vehicle health check and video reporting systems
  • Ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
  • Collaborating with workshop colleagues to share knowledge and maintain high standards
About You

Applications are welcomed from experienced automotive professionals, including:

  • Vehicle Technicians
  • MOT Testers

  • HGV Technicians / Mechanics
  • Fast-Fit Technicians
  • Apprentices nearing qualification completion

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment

Desirable but not essential:

  • MOT Licence
  • Electric/Hybrid Vehicle qualification or experience

Full manufacturer and specialist training will be provided for the right candidate.
