Role Overview: As a Technical Trainer at Mowi, you will ensure our employees are equipped with essential food safety and quality knowledge to excel in our food manufacturing plant. You will work closely with the Factory Training Manager and Site Technical & Compliance Manager to maintain and develop the training matrix, designing and delivering tailored training programs on food safety, quality, authenticity, production processes, and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

1. Training Program Development: Collaborate with experts to identify training needs, develop comprehensive programs, and create engaging training materials that are regularly updated.
2. Training Delivery: Conduct interactive training sessions using diverse methods suitable for various learning styles, including classroom, on-the-job, and simulations.
3. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on technical aspects of food production, machinery, and processes, staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
4. Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments to measure training effectiveness, gather feedback, and refine training content and methods.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate records of training activities, generate reports on training metrics, communicate outcomes to stakeholders, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production or a related technical or supervisory role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts effectively.
• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and training technologies.
• Trainer or educator certification is advantageous.
