Technical Trainer - Construction Sector - Hybrid About the Role

Are you ready to transition from hands-on construction work to a dynamic training role? We're seeking a confident and experienced professional from the building industry to join our clients technical education team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sharing knowledge and shaping the next generation of skilled workers.

You'll be responsible for delivering both practical and classroom-based instruction on modern building techniques, safety standards, and sustainable construction practices. The role involves preparing training materials, maintaining workshop tools, and supporting the development of new learning modules.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead engaging training sessions for professionals and apprentices
• Set up and maintain hands-on training environments
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate training schedules and
  logistics
• Keep training content current with industry standards and regulations
• Transport materials between training sites and external events
• Support product development initiatives with technical insights

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience or technical training is not necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.
  Solid background in construction, ideally with experience in drylining, plastering, or energy-efficient building methods
• Strong understanding of building codes and health & safety regulations
• Comfortable presenting to groups and explaining technical concepts clearly
• Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and using construction tools safely
• Full driving licence required
