Job Description

The Education and Training Specialist will develop and administer education/training programs to support customer projects and internal employee development. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, creating training materials, delivering in-person training sessions, and ensuring quality and compliance.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conduct analysis for Education and Training activities to formulate project plans.
  • Perform Training Needs Analysis for various training programs.
  • Design training programs and review training products with stakeholders.
  • Develop and promote professional standards within the training environment.
  • Support training delivery and planning worldwide.
  • Conduct training assessments and provide ongoing support to staff.
  • Deliver mentoring and coaching to staff.
  • Manage training budgets and implement best practices.
  • Ensure environmental, health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
  • Support project management and develop training materials.
  • Review technical documentation and deliver technical training.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and contribute to personnel development.

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience in training development under challenging timescales.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT), project management, and military publications.
  • Background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Ability to conduct technical authoring and understand military training procedures.
  • Experience within the defence environment and working in multi-skilled teams.
  • Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
