Technical Specialist (PA6 / 6.6)

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist (PA6 / 6.6) for an exceptional opportunity based in various locations across Europe.

This role offers the successful candidate the chance to join a dynamic and innovative organisation where they will play a key role in driving product development and process excellence within the polymer business unit.

Essential to the role:

The successful candidate must have hands-on experience in the polymerization of PA6 and/or PA66, specifically in the production of raw polymer granules. This includes knowledge of the chemical processes involved in polymerizing caprolactam (for PA6) or hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid (for PA66).

Experience that is limited to compounding or extrusion - i.e., using pre-made granules to blend with additives or fillers, is unfortunately not sufficient for this role.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or an equivalent qualification or experience.
• Preferably Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified or higher.
• Proven experience working specifically with PA6 or 6.6.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
