Technical Solutions Engineer (H/F)

DISCOVER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to report directly to the UK Sales Manager. The Technical Solutions Engineer is a technical expert with in-depth knowledge of the defense market, associated applications, equipment, and a strong understanding of our products and technologies. This role is cross-functional, covering all entities within the group, and involves developing sales by providing technical expertise and building trusted relationships with clients.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing technical support and expertise to sales teams.

2. Conducting technical demonstrations, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving technical issues.

3. Identifying potential synergies between different entities based on targeted applications.

4. Acting as the interface between local technical support teams, sales teams, and customers to understand needs and present tailored technical solutions.

5. Collaborating with internal teams such as Field Application Engineers (FAE) and Product Managers to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and meet customer requirements.

6. Contributing to the product roadmaps of various Business Units.

7. Providing market information to the Defense Market Manager.

8. Sharing data on competition, customer needs, programs, and stakeholders with Business Units.

YOUR ASSETS

You possess a dual engineering and commercial background with over 10 years of experience.

You have expertise in Radio Frequency and Optical connectivity technologies.

English native speaker; proficiency in French is a plus.

You are capable of working independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Willingness to travel at least 30% for customer meetings and opportunity development.

This role offers hybrid working, with flexibility to work remotely and from the office. Candidates should ideally be based within the Home Counties.
