The roleAs Technical Services Support, you'll provide specialist technical knowledge and support across our pension administration activities, ensuring calculations, reports and member information are delivered accurately and efficiently.
You'll be responsible for:- Producing and reviewing pension benefit calculations across a range of member scenarios.
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues across Member Services.
- Investigating complex pension queries and resolving issues effectively.
- Producing and analysing pension data, reports and management information.
- Supporting projects, regulatory changes and scheme developments.
- Contributing to process improvements that enhance efficiency and member experience.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance in all aspects of your work.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
We're looking for someone with a strong technical pensions background who enjoys working with detailed calculations and complex pension legislation.
To be successful in this role, you'll likely have:- Experience working within the pensions industry, ideally in defined benefit pensions.
- Strong knowledge of pension benefit calculations and pension administration processes.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyse data and support decision-making.
- The ability to interpret and apply pension legislation and scheme rules.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support colleagues across the team.
- Experience of buy-in and buy-out transactions.
- Experience supporting technical pensions projects or regulatory change initiatives.
