Technical Services Manager

A medium sized but rapidly growing fit out contractor with a strong presence across the market delivering projects for blue chip clients requires an up and coming Technical Services Manager to join their business to work in a specific division that delivers Cat A and B fit out projects with M&E packages ranging from £4m-£10m. As Technical Services Manager, you will be based from their head office near Liverpool Street and work across 2-3 schemes simultaneously, working alongside respected project managers and reporting into their building services director.

The ideal Candidate:

• Ideally Mechanically biased, strong electrically biased candidates will be considered.
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role - Sub-contractor management.
• Some commercial understanding would be preferred.
• Delivery of both M and E services to high-value projects throughout the city.

You will ideally be from a large Sub Contract or existing Main Contracting background, having run projects of a similar size, be comfortable managing subcontractors, and be a strong communicator across the board.

The role requires a pro-active, motivated person with a desire to learn and progress within an organisation that values staff development and places a high level of importance on ensuring that their staff are well looked after and receive necessary training. They are very interested in speaking to engineers from a subcontractor who want to make a move to working for a main contractor who they can develop into the role.
