Our client is an established and successful distributor of chemical specialties (additives & process aids) in the Benelux and Germany and serves various markets such as adhesives, building, ceramics, cleaning, coatings, ink, personal care, plastic, PU, rubber and sealants. The company provides its customers with high-quality and innovative products, customized solutions and expert advice. It is also committed to digital transformation, sustainability and open innovation, and values transparency, progressiveness, loyalty, honesty, customer focus and cooperation.

The Role:

• Responsible for all commercial activities in the Rubber, Adhesives and sealant markets
• Developing new sales and finding new suppliers for these markets
• Supporting and exploring all (new) markets (e.g. Agrochemical, Building & Ceramics)
• Selling a range of bonding agents, anti-tacks, fillers, silanes and other related products to customers in the Benelux region
• Main activity is customer contact with approximately 30-40% of time spent on personal contact during visits and 30-40% on telephone calls and Teams-meetings
• Primary contact is for technical support, application development and product introductions.

Person Profile:

• Technical salesperson that lives relatively accessible to the site which is based in Nieuw-Vennep, Netherlands
• Experienced in selling chemical raw materials and providing technical support to a wide range of customers
• Degree or similar qualification in Chemistry or other materials science subject
• Speaks Dutch and English and has a chemical-technical sales background.
• Willingness to regularly travel in the Benelux region (car)
• Willingness to work from the Netherlands office mainly
