Technical Project Manager - Data Center & Infrastructure

Contract | Dublin (Hybrid, 2 days onsite) | £460 per day | 6 months

Preference is to have Financial Services experience

We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex data center and infrastructure initiatives. The role is based in Dublin, with two days per week onsite in Leopardstown/Carmanhall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data center deployments and infrastructure programs, coordinating across multiple teams.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and successful outcomes.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program updates, providing clear, data-driven reporting.

  • Implement governance and reporting frameworks to streamline processes and enable predictable delivery.

  • Build strong working relationships with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

  • Proactively identify risks and remove blockers to maintain project momentum in complex or ambiguous environments.

  • Review and challenge technical designs to ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and secure.

  • Mentor team members while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale technology projects in global or complex environments.

  • Proven track record managing data center or infrastructure programs, ideally across multiple regions.

  • Strong vendor management skills with the ability to align technical outcomes to business goals.

  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project/program management methodologies.

  • Technical acumen to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at translating challenges into clear, actionable plans.

  • Based in Ireland, with flexibility to work onsite in Dublin two days per week.
