Technical Program Manager - Payments (12-Month Contract)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

12-month initial contract

We are hiring a Technical Program Manager to join a fast-growing External Payment Services team working on innovative, consumer-facing payment products. This role sits at the centre of technology, product, and business, driving complex programs that demand high standards of security, performance, reliability, and availability.

What You'll Do

• Lead cross-functional technical programs delivering new payments products
• Own requirements definition, planning, timelines, dependencies, and delivery
• Act as the primary bridge between engineering teams and internal business stakeholders
• Manage risks, escalations, trade-offs, and competing priorities
• Drive execution from concept through deployment and customer launch
• Partner with technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with industry experience
• Background as a software engineer, technical lead, or technical program manager
• Proven experience delivering software products end-to-end
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable balancing business goals with technical constraints

Nice to Have

• experience in payments, fintech, or mobile payments
• Familiarity with Linux, Java, and HTML
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong product and program management skills
