To ensure that our internal systems and digital platform operate effectively and safely, we are looking for a Software & IT Engineer to join our expanding team. This individual should be able to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations.
Principal Duties: Software Engineering- Create, manage, and expand the MailPallet web platform with Supabase and Next.js.
- Manage and integrate RESEND, Paystack, and Stripe for automation, communication, and payment processes.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data transfer between in-house and external services.
- To improve user experience, create contemporary, interactive features with Three.js and JavaScript.
- Use CI/CD best practices, version control, and testing to uphold high standards for code quality.
- Cooperate with the operations and product teams to maximise system dependability and performance.
- Control email setups, domain settings, and DNS records for the business.
- Manage your Microsoft 365 account, including device policies, permissions, and user provisioning.
- Ensure data safety, upgrades, and compliance by maintaining and safeguarding company devices.
- Assist team members with IT and record important infrastructure procedures.
- Keep an eye on IT systems to guarantee scalability and reliable uptime.
- Computer science or a similar discipline at the bachelor's or master's degree level.
- Shown proficiency with JavaScript, Supabase, and Next.js.
- Strong knowledge of third-party integrations and API programming (Stripe, Paystack, RESEND).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, network settings, and DNS control.
- Familiarity with endpoint and device administration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- The capacity to operate autonomously in a startup setting that moves quickly.
