Technical Buyer - Freelancer

We are searching for a freelancer experienced in technical purchases to join a 3 to 6 month mission with one of our clients close to the Belgian border.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage supplier relationships, increase the pipeline for potential ones and conduct evaluations
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Lead the resolution of complaints/disputes from A-Z
• Manage calls for tenders for contracts and projects
• Create purchase orders and process workflows in SAP ensuring compliance and conformity within assigned categories
• Draft contracts and manage until signature verifing price consistency with agreements
• Deploy or adapt group strategies at the local level
• Manage local purchases in coordination with the category according to the defined RACI
• Participate in the implementation of new procurement tools

Required profile:

• Master's degree with a specialization in Purchasing/Supply Chain or equivalent,
• 3 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management
• Knowledge of S2P (Source-to-Pay) procurement processes: negotiation, RFI, RFQ, market analysis, risk management, pricing management, etc.
• Legal basics for contract drafting
• Proficiency in SAP purchasing modules; knowledge of Ariba is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English and French
