Overview:

Our client, an established and people-focused UK accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a Technical Audit Senior to join its growing Audit & Accounts Quality and Technical team based in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about audit standards, financial reporting & driving technical excellence across a collaborative firm.

About the Role:

As Technical Audit Senior, you will play a pivotal role in supporting audit quality, ensuring compliance with evolving accounting and auditing standards, and acting as a subject matter expert for teams across the business. You'll work on a variety of technical areas and contribute to firm-wide initiatives, including ESG and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert advice on UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, and ISA's.

- Offer day-to-day technical support to audit and accounting staff.

- Support teams in effectively using CaseWare and data analytics software.

- Keep abreast of technical developments and help cascade updates across the firm.

- Assist in developing and delivering technical training.

- Identify and drive improvements in audit and accounts processes.

- Collaborate on cross-functional projects, including ESG initiatives.
