Role: Technical Architect
Clearance: BPSS to start (MUST be SC Clearable)
Salary: £110,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP!
Location: Didcot, 5 days per week
Benefits: All travel expenses paid

iO Associates are working with a favoured Consultancy client of ours on their search for a Technical Architect to join a client based in Didcot on a Full time basis.

Responsibilities

• Design secure technical architectures aligned with BPSS requirements
• Embed security best practices across project life cycles
• Lead security assessments and advise on compliant controls
• Maintain and improve security standards across platforms
• Ensure documentation aligns with security policies and regulations
• Provide security architecture guidance and strategic advice
• Stay current on BPSS, security trends, and regulatory changes

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven security architecture experience, ideally with BPSS or similar standards
• Strong knowledge of public sector security frameworks
• Expertise in designing secure, scalable IT solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication and translation of technical concepts
• Relevant certifications (eg CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF) desirable
• Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies
