Technical Account Manager

Our business services team is seeking a Technical Account Manager to play a pivotal role in our continued success at our Leicester location.
What does this role involve?As a Technical Account Manager, you will prepare statutory accounts for limited companies - primarily medium-sized entities under FRS 102, and small entities under FRS 102 Section 1A - using IRIS Accounts Production.
TeamworkYou will liaise closely with the audit team during planning, fieldwork, and finalisation stages, providing input on technical aspects of accounts.
You will also review statutory accounts (FRS 102, 102 s1A, and FRS 105) prepared by the team to ensure technical compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation, whilst providing internal technical support and advice to wider team members, including responding to technical queries and delivering ad hoc training.
You will assist team members with the preparation of management accounts.
You will prepare consolidated financial statements under FRS 102, prepare corporation tax computations and returns using IRIS Business Tax and Alphatax, and prepare personal tax returns using IRIS Personal Tax.
You will maintainup-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting and tax legislation and proactively communicate changes to clients.
