Phoenix Futures is looking internally for a passionate, solution-focused Team Manager for our county-wide Criminal Justice Team within the Derbyshire Recovery Partnership community drug and alcohol service.
The RoleThis role is Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract. Office base is flexible (Chesterfield, Ripley, Ilkeston, Swadlincote or Buxton) and will be discussed at interview. Salary £28,500, with potential annual increments and a possible increase up to £31,750 per annum (pro rated).
As a Criminal Justice Team Manager you will lead and drive a specialist team to further embed and develop the intensive treatment offer for all service users involved in the criminal justice system. You will build strong working relationships, develop pathways with key partner agencies and lead the team to proactively engage with service users exiting prison services or subject to community orders (ATR, DRR, RAR). You will attend multi-disciplinary meetings, share relevant information, and ensure appropriate liaison with partners.
You will manage a multidisciplinary team responsible for the assessment and delivery of comprehensive community-based treatment, delivering effective interventions through structured key working and group work. You will maintain relationships with internal and external partnership agencies, promote the service and its outcomes to commissioners and stakeholders, and drive high ethical and professional standards of care and practice.
About You- Previous experience in substance use services.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience of line management, safeguarding, partnership working and managing people with substance and alcohol issues.
- Understanding of recovery principles.
- Starting salary £28,500, with potential increase to £31,750 per annum (pro rated).
