We are looking for experienced and motivated Team Leaders to join our warehouse operations team. This is an exciting chance to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced distribution centre environment.
As a DC Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods across inbound and outbound while creating a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven workplace culture.
- Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum
- Contract Type: Full Time & Fixed-Term Contract Opportunities Available
- Start Date: ASAP
Shifts will be based on operational requirements and will typically be:
- 06:00 - 14:30/14:00 - 22:45
Candidates must be flexible and available to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends where required.

What You'll Be Doing as a Team Leader:As a Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, timely, and accurate movement of stock.
- Oversee inbound and outbound
- Train, coach, and develop team members to improve capability and performance.
- Set clear expectations and promote accountability through regular feedback and hands on leadership.
- Foster open communication, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where employees feel valued and supported
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve operational priorities and service targets.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities through data analysis, feedback, and team collaboration.
- Maintain inventory integrity through stock counting, auditing, investigation, and accurate system transactions.
- Proven distribution centre or warehouse leadership experience.
- Strong operational knowledge of both inbound and outbound logistics across Retail and Online fulfilment environments.
- Experience managing day-to-day workflows and resolving operational challenges in a hands on manner.
- Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of warehouse operational standards, logistics processes, and sustainability objectives.
- Experience managing formal HR and employee relations processes.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and drive engagement through visibility, coaching, and recognition.
