Team leader

At Kuehne+Nagel in Zaandam, you can grow further as a Logistics Team Lead. You'll take on more responsibility, support your team, and help improve daily operations in an international logistics environment.
Our Zaandam site handles the return logistics of the Netherlands' biggest retailer, processing 400-600 trucks a day. To keep this running smoothly, we need a Team Lead who can stay in control and guide the team in the right direction. In this role, you focus on leading, coordinating, and staying ahead of what's needed. When things get busy, you step in and support - because you believe the team succeeds together.

Your main tasks:
• Running your shift, dividing tasks, giving instructions, and checking the work.
• Supporting the Supervisor and replacing them when needed.
• Spotting and solving machine or process issues.
• Ensuring smooth receipt, cleaning, sorting, storage, and shipping of product carriers.
• Working according to safety procedures and making sure others do too.

Job Requirements:
• Secondary vocational education level or similar work experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in logistics or production.
• Several years of experience with technical or automated installations.
• Good English skills; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to work in a 3-shift schedule.

Employment Conditions: - Employment contract with Kuehne + Nagel
- €15,58hour gross (up to €18,46 per hour depending on experience) + calculated on base hours
