Role Overview 
Underwriting Team Leader - International Property and Casualty, London, Full time, Hybrid.
Primary DetailsTime Type: Full time. Worker Type: Employee.
Responsibilities- Proactively manage team resources and workflow using KPIs to meet agreed service levels on quality, quantity, and deadlines.
- Develop and performance manage a team of Underwriting Assistants, ensuring objectives are aligned to business requirements and building skills and talent.
- Drive continuous improvement and lead change projects and initiatives for the product area, collaborating with underwriting, operations and IT to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure the team complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, meeting internal and external obligations.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Strong and established customer and broker relationships.
- Experience using risk profiling, pricing tools and loss models.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of underwriting administration processes in Lloyds/London Market.
- Experience identifying and implementing process change in Underwriting Operations.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and process improvement skills.
- 30 days holiday a year, with an option to buy up to 2 additional days.
