Underwriting Team Leader - International Property and Casualty, London, Full time, Hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage team resources and workflow using KPIs to meet agreed service levels on quality, quantity, and deadlines.
• Develop and performance manage a team of Underwriting Assistants, ensuring objectives are aligned to business requirements and building skills and talent.
• Drive continuous improvement and lead change projects and initiatives for the product area, collaborating with underwriting, operations and IT to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure the team complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, meeting internal and external obligations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in people management.
• Strong and established customer and broker relationships.
• Experience using risk profiling, pricing tools and loss models.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of underwriting administration processes in Lloyds/London Market.
• Experience identifying and implementing process change in Underwriting Operations.
• Analytical, critical thinking, and process improvement skills.
