Are you looking for an empowering and rewarding career where you can help people lead their most independent lives?

At Lifeways Group, one of the UK's leading providers of support services for adults with learning disabilities, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to join our supported living service in Carlisle.

Harraby Croft apartments offer the ideal mixture of independent and shared living space. In these apartments, people can benefit from a vibrant network of staff and friends, while having peace and quiet when they need it too. There are fourteen one-bedroom apartments, each with an open-plan kitchen and living room, and a wet room-style bathroom. Harraby Croft also has an accessible garden with a BBQ for people to spend time outdoors when the weather is good

Your Role

As Team Leader, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. You'll supervise and support a dedicated team of Support Workers, helping them deliver person-centred care that promotes independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise the delivery of person-centred services
  • Assist with rota planning and timesheet accuracy
  • Promote health and safety for both service users and staff

About You

  • Essential: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within social care
  • Flexible approach and willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call rota
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
