Team Lead - Data and Digitalisation (Energy)
Posted 15 hours 13 minutes ago by DNV Germany Holding GmbH
We help customers navigate the complex transition to a decarbonized and more sustainable energy future. We do this by assuring that energy systems work safely and effectively, using solutions that are increasingly digital. We also help industries and governments to navigate the many complex, interrelated transitions taking place globally and regionally, in the energy industry.
Do you have a passion for innovation driven by digitalisation and decarbonisation, and want to solve complex challenges in the energy industry?
Here at DNV, what we do matters. Whether it's helping the energy industry transition to a more decarbonised and sustainable future or helping safeguard life, property and the environment, every day, what you do will make a difference. This is our shared purpose and one our people are proud to be part of.
We're also at the heart of the digital transformation of the energy sector. Having secured several high-profile digitalisation projects, our Digital Energy team is shaping how data and digital technologies support the evolving energy system - which has the consumer at its core and increasingly shaped by low-carbon and renewable sources. As these energy vectors become more distributed and decentralised, digitalisation plays a critical role in enabling a consumer-centric, efficient, and resilient transition.
We aim to provide unrivalled expertise and collaboration through which we are enabled, empowered and motivated to work together to create a profitable and growing business. Our ambition is for sustained growth, where we can expand our traditional boundaries and create a place to work which is exciting and dynamic; and where our people can develop.
Our OpportunityTo support our exciting growth and help accelerate the digital transformation of the energy sector, we are seeking an additional Team Lead to join our Digital Energy team.
You'll help us in building a culture that champions innovation, diversity, and continuous improvement, actively seeking out opportunities for change and delivering them in a structured, measurable way-celebrating success and learning from experience.
As a Team Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming how the energy industry leverages value from digital technologies across all energy vectors-from power grids and gas networks to energy production and storage. You'll utilise your expertise across AI and data science, (including digital twinning approaches and complex sensing and automation techniques) to enable your ability to lead a diverse team of engineers and consultants at varying stages of their career development, from graduates through to those at a Senior or Principal level.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Energy, you will bring proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, ideally within the energy or technology sectors. You'll oversee 5-10 direct reports, with a strong focus on well-being, balanced workloads, and inclusive leadership. Promoting diversity of thought and a culture of curiosity is central to our approach, as we aim to attract, develop, and retain top talent. You will join an existing cohort of Team Leads; and be part of our Digital Energy management team.
