Team Lead - Compliance & Operations

The Opportunity

My client is seeking a Team Lead to oversee a busy operational team within their Business Services function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards while driving efficiency and process improvement. This is a people-focused role with the added opportunity to build technical expertise in a specialist environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop team members through structured feedback, one-to-ones, and team meetings
• Manage training, development, and performance to ensure continuous improvement
• Maintain high levels of service delivery, proactively addressing challenges and escalating issues where necessary
• Resource plan effectively to ensure continuity of service, including cover for absences and workload fluctuations
• Contribute to departmental projects and process enhancements
• Develop technical understanding to provide guidance and support to team operations
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers across shifts
