Team Administrator - Memory Assessment Service - Pennine Network - Band 3 - Full time - 37.5 hrs per week

Temporary Secondment or Fixed Term Contract - 5 months

The Pennine Network is looking for a Team Administrator to join our Older Adults Memory Assessment Service on a full time, temporary basis. You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills to support the smooth and efficient functioning of the service.

You should be able to work on your own or as a member of the wider admin team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, service users, visitors and carers in a professional manner. The successful candidate must be computer literate, able to use Microsoft Office packages, be skilled in live minute taking and possess a good telephone manner.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality administrative service by supporting the clinical staff members with referrals, appointments, welcome calls and minute taking at meetings.

The post holder will be aligned to a specific clinical team but is also required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the service providing cover to other teams on various sites as directed by Locality Admin Co ordinator to ensure continuity of a quality service.

The post holder will need to be a team player with strong communication skills.

Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration - or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.
Knowledge
  • Awareness of issues in the Mental Health Network.
  • Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.
Experience
  • Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management
  • Previous experience of working in a fast moving, confidential, sensitive, pressurised deadline driven environment.
