Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only etc.

• Actual salary of £17,370, based on Single Status Grade 3.7 / £24,796 (fte)
• Term time only. Hours are approx. 08:40 - 15:10, five days (30 hrs) a week, dependent on site.
• One year fixed term contract.

The Role

• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
• Providing support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks.
• Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitoring and recording student progress.
• Assisting with the management of classroom resources and setup.
• Providing personal care.
• May be required to work at any of our six sites.

Qualifications & Experience

• A genuine passion for education and the well being of children.
• A knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff, patience, flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
