Overview

St. John's Church of England Middle School Academy is seeking 2 caring, committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (SEN) to join our dedicated team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs. You will support identified pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them to achieve their academic potential while developing confidence, independence and positive social skills.

When the child leaves the school, the post will cease.

Responsibilities

You will provide support to pupils with additional needs, ensuring their educational, social and emotional progress within the classroom and specialist settings.

Job Details

Hours: 30 hours per week (8.45am 3.15pm, Monday - Friday, Term time only) - Required from May/September 2026 (subject to satisfactory clearance checks)

Salary: TA1 TA4, SCP 2 22, £24,796 £33,699 (Actual Salary - £17,708 £24,591 per annum)

Location: St John's CE Middle School Academy, Watt Close, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B617DH
