You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional needs, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum and achieve success.Key Responsibilities
- Supporting students in and out of the classroom to enhance learning
- Working with small groups and individuals to deliver targeted interventions
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working within a school setting, ideally secondary
- Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, flexible and supportive approach
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
