Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in North Shields.

The school has a positive and inclusive atmosphere, with a strong focus on creating a safe, engaging environment where children can feel confident, supported and ready to learn. You'll be joining a friendly team who value the contribution of their support staff and work closely together to help pupils get the most from their time in school.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Confidence supporting pupils both 1:1 and within small groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children
• A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop
• A strong commitment to safeguarding
