Level 3 Teaching Assistant - SEND Focus

Contract: Full-time / Long-term

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Manchester.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and can provide high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom.

The role will involve:

• Supporting pupils with SEND across the primary age range
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop their independence
• Supporting children with autism, ADHD and additional learning needs
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team
