Teaching Assistant

- Work under the direction of the class teacher
- Supervise and provide support to pupils, including those with SEN, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
- Assist with the implementation and development on individual education/behaviour plans and personal care programmes
- Encourage the children to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
- Set challenging expectations to encourage children to achieve their potential
- Promote self-esteem and independence
- Provide feedback to pupils on their progress
- Maintain an orderly environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the displays of pupils' work
- Assist with planning of learning activities
- Deliver and support lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum including Phonics sessions
- Evidence of working with children through adequate references
- Passion and drive for supporting children within schools
- Experience with KS1 pupils and curriculum
- Relevant qualifications for example: Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning within schools.

We are looking for enthusiastic Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant's available on a long-term basis.
Full time roles will be 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The roles will be based inyour year group of choice!
Our schools are located across the Wolverhampton area.
