Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Long-Term)

Location: Alcester Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Long-term

About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Alcester on a long-term basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Support pupils with additional learning needs
• Help prepare classroom resources and assist with general duties

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
• Essential: Experience within a UK secondary school setting
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desired but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Access to a car preferred
