Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School near Bury St Edmunds starting from February 23rd 2026. The successful candidate will be supporting a Year 2 Student 1:1.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location -near Bury St Edmunds Position - Teaching Assistant Contract or position start date - 23rd Feb 2026 Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking until July Contract type - Long-Term Full time/part time - Part time to Full time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £60 per day Hours - 8:30am - 12.45pm Mon & Tues (gradually increasing to a full day)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous TA experience
• Previous SEN/EHCP/SEMH experience
• GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references
