Teaching Assistant
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until July 2027
Work pattern: 32.50 hours per week Term time only (38 weeks)
Hours of work: Monday -Friday,8:30am -3.30pm(30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Salary information: Scale 3,£29,436 - £29,856 per annum (dependent upon experience)
Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a person who:

• Can supervise and support named pupils; ensuring their safety and access to learning
• Is a good team player.
• Is self-motivated, creative and empathetic.
• Has a good sense of humour.
• Is committed to the inclusion of all children and their families.
• Will support staff and work closely with other professionals to provide the best outcomes for children.
• Is willing to work with children with complex needs.

They will ideally:

• Have a Paediatric First Aid qualification or First Aid at Work.
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Have excellent Maths and English skills.
• Have relevant experience with SEND children.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Support the Christian values of our school.
• Have an ability to communicate effectively.
• Be physically able to carry out the duties of the role safely and effectively. This may include supporting pupils with mobility, participating in physical activities, moving around the school throughout the day, and responding appropriately to pupils' individual needs.
