The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities, helping them to access learning and achieve their potential.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
• Working with individuals and small groups of pupils
• Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom preparation and activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Providing pastoral and academic support to pupils

About You

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
• Have experience working with children or young people
• Are enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting pupils
• Can work effectively as part of a school team
• Have a positive and flexible approach
• Are ideally available full-time, although regular part-time availability will also be considered
