The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons, support student progress and make a positive contribution to the school throughout the academic year.

As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

• Deliver engaging, well-planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop their knowledge and understanding of geographical concepts, processes and issues.
• Plan and deliver lessons covering a broad range of physical and human Geography topics.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to help maximise achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.
• A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and engage young people.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full 10-year career history.
• A minimum of two professional references.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
