Job Title: Teacher of English

Salary Range: £30,000 - £46535 per annum (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: September 2025
Contract: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Inspire students to develop a love for reading, writing, and critical analysis.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school events.
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes inclusion, creativity, and excellence.

Requirements:

• UK QTS or equivalent (including ECTs and overseas-trained teachers).
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to student progress and a collaborative teaching approach.
• Ability to inspire and challenge learners of all abilities.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
