Job Title: Primary Teacher Location: Prescot, Knowsley Start date: September 2026 Pay: £140 - £261 per day (dependent on experience) About the role:

CER Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic Teacher to work within a Primary school in the Prescot, Knowsley area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident educator who can deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' progress, and contribute positively to the wider school community.

We have a competitive daily pay rate starting at £140 - £261, weekly pay and can offer flexible working patterns to suit your availability and career aspirations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners and encourages development.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using this information to improve future planning.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils, including those requiring additional support or challenge.
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote positive behaviour in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, senior leaders and parents/carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of school, including meetings, planning and school events where required.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
• Previous experience teaching in schools, ideally within primary.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Live Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• Right to work in the UK and professional references.
