Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to deliver expert financial advice and a high standard of service to a portfolio of accounting clients, primarily consisting of small to medium-sized owner-managed businesses.

Description
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of service
- Monitor job progress against timelines and billing targets
- Track and manage key deadlines to ensure timely delivery of work
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies
- Complete self-assessment tax returns accurately and efficiently
- Prepare corporation tax computations and submit returns
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ensure full compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Utilise accounting software such as IRIS, Sage, Dext, and Xero effectively
- Deliver work to a consistently high standard within agreed deadlines
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally
- Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, providing technical guidance where needed
- Carry out additional duties as required, in line with the responsibilities of the role
Profile
A successful Tax Specialist should have:
- A strong background in tax within the professional services industry.
- Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy. AAT, ACA, CTA
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and confidence in providing advice and recommendations to clients.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tax compliance work.
- A proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
