What you'll do

• Lead the delivery of tax reporting components and budgetary requirements on a timely basis.
• Review tax calculations for external reporting and internal forecasting.
• Prepare and review tax reporting documentation and evidence for US GAAP and IFRS reporting purposes (e.g., Uncertain Tax Position evidence).
• Work with divisional finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting into Group, including training and development in US GAAP reporting where applicable.
• Proactively identify and help mitigate tax risks within the Group.
• Review and communicate advice to collaborators, assisting with external reporting disclosure obligations (10K, 10Q, and IFRS tax documentation).
• Ensure adherence to SOX controlled tax reporting environment.

How you'll do it

• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and tax reporting (US GAAP preferred, IFRS sufficient).
• Qualified accountant and/or tax advisor with 5+ years post qualification experience.
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Oracle) and tax reporting applications (e.g., Oracle EPM - Tax Reporting "TRCS").
• Experience working in a SOX internal control environment.
• Proven experience managing teams, supporting their development, and forming relationships with group auditors and finance teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic, fast paced environment and embrace change.

• Well organised, detailed, meticulous with a proactive drive for continuous improvement.
