Description

• Manage the organisation's tax compliance processes, including VAT, corporate tax, and PAYE submissions.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and related filings.
• Provide expert advice on tax matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
• Collaborate with external advisors and auditors as needed for tax-related matters.
• Develop and maintain efficient tax reporting systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and implement best practices across the department.
• Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior management.

Profile

A successful Tax Manager should have:

• A relevant professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regulations, especially in a retail context.
• Proven ability to manage tax compliance and reporting processes effectively.
• Experience in providing tax advice to internal or external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
