Job Description

We are looking to recruit an ambitious Tax Director or Senior Manager to join our expanding Cheltenham tax team.

This could be an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a fulfilling role with excellent prospects, based in Cheltenham. We are interested in candidates with private client tax experience.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will influence the development of the practice and will have People Management and Business Development responsibilities.

This role offers flexible hybrid working, supporting a balance between office, home, and client site work to deliver excellent client service.

Working closely with our Cheltenham Senior Management Team, you will aim to grow our tax client portfolio and develop the team, adding value for clients and helping our staff realize their potential.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and developing our tax team locally and nationally, including recruiting and coaching team members.
  2. Building strong relationships with a broad portfolio of tax clients to ensure quality, trusted advisory services.
  3. Networking within the local market to facilitate business development.

About you

You should be:

  • Qualified with experience in a tax environment.
  • A proactive business developer keen to build local contacts and networks.
  • A great people manager who enjoys coaching and developing teams.
  • Highly commercial with a drive to contribute to Bishop Fleming's growth.
