Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager - Tax & Trust

Eastleigh Hybrid Working

Independent Legal & Trust Services Firm

Clark Wood is delighted to be partnering with a modern and forward-thinking firm specialising in legal, tax, and trust services. This innovative business provides bespoke solutions to high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and business owners across the region.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Tax & Trust professional to join their collaborative team. The role is open at Assistant Manager, Manager, or Senior Manager level, offering flexibility depending on experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a personal tax and trust specialist looking to step away from a traditional accountancy practice environment, with greater client exposure, advisory responsibility, and genuine long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trust Administration: Manage a varied portfolio of trusts, ensuring accurate administration and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Client Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and handling queries in a proactive and professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of trust accounts, tax returns, and investment reviews.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all trust and estate matters adhere to trust deeds, wills, HMRC requirements, and relevant legislation.
  • Advisory Work: Provide high-quality advice on estate planning, trust structuring, inheritance tax, and personal tax matters.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal legal and private client teams to deliver a seamless service.
  • Continuous Development: Stay up to date with developments in trust law and taxation, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and CPD.
Candidate Profile
  • Strong experience in trust administration and personal tax, ideally within a legal, accountancy, or fiduciary environment.
  • Good working knowledge of UK trust law, estate planning, and associated tax matters.
  • Confident communicator with experience managing client relationships directly.
  • ATT / CTA / STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional approach.
What's on Offer
  • Hybrid and flexible working.
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment.
  • Clear progression opportunities aligned to your level.
  • Opportunity to work in a modern, non-traditional setting focused on long-term client relationships.
