Role Summary

As an Associate Director within the GT Private South & London Advisory Tax team, you will focus exclusively on advisory work for mid market businesses and high-net worth individuals, advising on complex transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, management buy outs, IPOs, carve outs and private equity investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax advice to mid market businesses and their shareholders.
• Advises on the tax implications and structuring of acquisitions, disposals and business separations.
• Lead client work, act as the day to day contact, and engage the Private and wider Tax teams to ensure correct skill utilisation.
• Develop and mentor junior team members, support their career aspirations.
• Lead client meetings, answering client queries concisely and confidently.
• Provide intelligent and creative solutions, proactively cross sell wider solutions across the GT network.

Minimum Criteria

• A professional qualification (CTA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) and experience advising on complex transactions.
• Interest in developing yourself and your team members.
• Experience in business development or proposal drafting is desirable.
• Experience in both corporate and private client tax backgrounds is beneficial.
