The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting creative talent and understand the demands of the VFX industry. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing recruitment, talent development, and workforce planning while building strong relationships with artists and production teams to support the studio's long-term success.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Recruit high-calibre VFX professionals across all disciplines
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent
  • Source candidates through networking, industry events, referrals and recruitment platforms
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate hiring processes
  • Manage offer negotiations and onboarding

Talent Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for artists throughout their employment
  • Support career development discussions and progression planning
  • Conduct regular check-ins with employees and freelancers
  • Work with department leads to identify development opportunities
  • Support performance review processes

Resource Planning

  • Partner with Production and Resource Managers to understand staffing requirements
  • Forecast future hiring needs based on project schedules
  • Assist with workforce planning and succession planning
  • Monitor utilisation and availability of artists

Employee Experience

  • Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture
  • Support employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Assist with wellbeing initiatives and employee support

HR & Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment complies with employment legislation and company policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Manage all HR administration
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role

This is a hybrid role but would need you in the office at least 2 days a week. This is a fixed term contract role of 12 months.
