OverviewNHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Talent Engagement Partner to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first and to deliver against our strategic objectives.
Delivering the people strategy behind one of our most ambitious transformation programmes, the Talent Engagement Partner will directly partner with business directorates to shape the workforce needed for success - today and into the future. It combines internal mobility, external sourcing, and proactive workforce engagement to ensure the programme has the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.
Supports delivery at pace by reducing dependency on agencies, building internal capability, and creating a positive, inclusive candidate and colleague experience.
Responsibilities- Work closely with hiring managers to confirm resourcing priorities and deliver targeted talent solutions. Sources and shortlists candidates through internal mobility and external outreach, engaging colleagues in secondment and progression opportunities. Work with Talent Development and Talent Manager to identify internal talent pools through quarterly meetings. Utilise recruitment tools, talent pools and digital platforms to identify and connect great candidates.
- Ensure internal colleagues are visible, considered and supported before external talent engagement. Identify ready talent and promote mobility opportunities before going to the external market. Partner with hiring managers and Programme Leads to understand requirements, shape future talent pipelines and deliver exceptional candidate experience.
- Deliver and manage end-to-end talent engagement campaigns, from brief all the way through to offer. You'll lead on engagement of professional, specialist and leadership roles.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify and engage high potential. Champion inclusive hiring, ensuring every advert, post and interaction reflects our brand and values and behaviours. Embeds fair, equitable, and accessible processes throughout every stage of engagement.
- Ensures all adverts, outreach and candidate touchpoints reflect our EVP and culture. Representing our brand externally at events, networks and webinars, helping grow our reputation as a great place to work.
- Provides guidance, updates and clarity to create smooth, positive experiences. Supports leader upskilling sessions including design and delivery of any tools and resources, working across the Talent Engagement team to maintain our Pulse pages.
- Use data, dashboards, market insight and feedback to inform sourcing plans. Looks for ways to simplify the process and improve engagement outcomes. Maintains dashboards and trackers to keep programme teams informed, while providing expert advice on recruitment policy and process. Acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring every interaction reflects our purpose, values, and inclusive culture.
- Working closely with our BAU partners ensures we remain compliant and in line with current processes, sharing feedback and working together to enhance candidate experience throughout the process. Looks for ways to simplify the process and improve engagement outcomes.

Qualifications- In-depth experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, or talent acquisition, preferably within a transformation background.
- Ensuring candidate experience is at the forefront of our practices, and our processes are people focused.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, internal mobility and building talent pipelines, familiar with capability and succession planning.
- Skilled in direct sourcing, recruitment, marketing and inclusion by design. Experience managing budgets and external relationships.
- Expert knowledge of HR technology, analytics and talent insight tools to shape recommendations.
