Talent Consultant (Starting Well)

London Borough of Havering

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract/secondment opportunity

Pay - £42,324 to £46,512 per annum, subject to final confirmation

The London Borough of Havering is seeking to recruit a Talent Consultant (Starting Well). The role involves managing the delivery of high-quality talent management solutions, including attraction, identification, development, engagement, and deployment, specifically for the Starting Well service to meet future workforce needs.

If successful, as a Talent Consultant (Starting Well), you will:

  • Assist with implementing talent strategies by providing up-to-date advice and guidance to positively influence the employee experience.
  • Manage all processes and administrative requirements, ensuring timely completion and proper record maintenance, in line with service standards.
  • Attract talent through employer branding and employee value propositions.
  • Contribute to maintaining corporate information and tools to promote Havering Council as an attractive employer.
  • Collaborate with the Transactional HR service to ensure relevant information is available on the recruitment site.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns, using approved frameworks, and liaise with senior leaders and recruitment agencies as needed.
  • Work with managers to identify sourcing options to maximize applications, including internal talent pools.

Support the development and delivery of talent activities in relevant areas.
