Talent Acquisition Research Consultant - Insurance

Oakleaf is supporting a fast-growing, international business in the specialty insurance sector as they expand their in-house talent capability. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded researcher or talent professional to play a key role in shaping hiring strategy across broking and underwriting markets.

What you'll do

• Lead or support market mapping, talent research, and competitor analysis across specialty insurance
• Build target lists and detailed candidate insights for senior and niche hires
• Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to support end-to-end hiring activity
• Produce clear, high-impact market intelligence for senior stakeholders
• Track and maintain candidate pipelines and market data
• Stay ahead of industry trends, appointments, and talent movements

What we're looking for

• Background in executive search research or mid-level talent acquisition with strong direct sourcing experience
• Proven expertise in market mapping and talent intelligence
• Active network within specialty insurance (broking and/or underwriting essential)
• Experience operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to present insight-led analysis
